My Neighborhood

Here are some photos from around Queen Anne.  January and February were warm enough for mushrooms to survive.  I didn’t notice any others out, but I haven’t been going on walks in more scenic places, where rotting fallen logs, wood chips, appropriate moisture retention and other hospitable fungus environmental factors are more commonly found.  The mossy area in the back is a good location; there is protection from the wind and moisture retention due to the moss.  All these pictures are from my neighborhood, which is a lovely place to live.  Quiet, peaceful, centrally located with good busing, close to two bodies of water and many locations to purchase quality raw or cooked food, Queen Anne is a great place to live for what I currently need.  There are also many stairwells.
