Don’t Funk with my Meta-Funk (The Heat Goes On)

Remain in the Light is a brilliant album full of tight, clean, funky grooves and excellent production.  This was the last Talking Heads’, one of my all-time favorite bands, album to be produced by Brian Eno.  “Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On)” is one of the best opening songs on any album and one of the funkiest Talking Heads song.  I was out walking around the mountains today.  Disregarding logic, I figured there wouldn’t be that much snow on the trail.  I was wrong, but still had a fun time tramping around.  Yesterdays, UM hoops victory was awesome.  Who knows what Blake Griffin and Oklahoma will bring?  A big dance victory is a beg step for a program still suffering from the legacy of the Fab 5.  Go Blue!
