Stuck in the Ghetto Life (Wall Street Has Fallen & Can’t Get Up)

As the United States continues its’ descent from the top, the braying beltway jackasses bicker, spin, and continue to limit radical ideas from being disseminated.  Any kind of bailout should be applied from the bottom up, rather than the just defeated proposal, which was was based on the top-down trickle down principles that are responsible for the economic crisis.  The legislation was drafted by the same fools who engineered this financial fiasco.  Some of them were also around for the 1980s Saving & Loan disaster.  I am sure glad we have fiscal conservatives running this country.  Plus, their compassionate conservatism should mean lots of homeless shelters and breadlines.

F@ck Wall Street!  People who create nothing but illusory wealth are scum!  Creating all kinds of fake money is only a legitimate job on Wall Street.  Elsewhere it is a felony.  Holding a gun to our heads saying “Give us the money or we will stall the economy” is extortion.  There is some evidence suggesting the FDIC is pressuring smaller banks, who have not been hit nearly so hard, to stop giving out loans in an attempt to starve us out. Criminals.  Our public officials are paid by us to screw us for them (Wall Street), who buy influence and power with their wealth.  Idiot’s Delight!

“I don’t know what you mean by ‘glory,'” Alice said.
Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. “Of course you don’t – till I tell you. I meant ‘there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!'”
“But ‘glory’ doesn’t mean ‘a nice knock-down argument,'” Alice objected.
“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said in a rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.”
“The question is,” said Alice, “whether you can make words mean different things.”
“The question is,” said Humpty Dumpty, “which is to be master – that’s all.”
Alice was too much puzzled to say anything, so after a minute Humpty Dumpty began again.
“They’ve a temper, some of them – particularly verbs, they’re the proudest – adjectives you can do anything with, but not verbs – however, I can manage the whole lot! Impenetrability! That’s what I say!”

Glenn Greenwald does an excellent job penetrating the muck at http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/.  Check him for the inside, unkut dope.

Let’s take it to Wall Street.  All the responsible CEO’s should have a majority of their wealth taken to be used to finance some of a bailout in whatever form it exists.  If they were the normal individual they would be foreclosed on, homeless and bankrupt.  Just because you are rich doesn’t mean it should work any different.  Isn’t America suppose to be a place of equal treatment?  Of free markets?  Both neo-classical conservatives and liberals tout those virtues.

Anyways, funk relieves congestion caused by doom & gloom.  So come on back for part two.
