Under the Weather (Grab an Umbrella)

I am feeling a bit under the weather today and have been applying for work for many hours. I need $. Need $ ya’ll. With all of that in mind, and the fact I have not been around my musical stash, today’s post will be short with an envisioned post bigger than the rims on this car. Tomorrow’s post will include the first McDonald’s ad. It is very creepy.

Speaking of rims, recently I have seen an early 90s Ford Windstar minivan rocking hood rims. Thinking I would not see rims on a more unlikely I wished I had a camera. A few days later I spotted a flash off a 1994ish Chevy Safari van that suggested rims more than a rewaxing. Upon closer inspection, I realized that this Chevy Safari was indeed sporting 20+ inchers. These two sightings were even more preposterous due to the fact that the vehicles were not superficially pristine.

I want to meet the individuals who owned these vehicles and ask questions of them. One, why spend money on rims when your vehicle is an old van showing signs of its age through rust among other things? Two, how much did the rims cost? Third, how much did the vehicles cost to purchase and what is there current blue book value? There is always the chance these rims were placed ironically, but I am doubting that is the case. That is just about all for today.

The last thing has to do with the downloading. I am very glad to see people appreciating what I put up, but there has been an injustice done. The Bootsy tracks off of Play with Bootsy have not been downloaded much. This music should be heard by many more, so I am including them in this post to hopefully spread the space bass love. They should all work this time from the get go. Check ’em out. Bootsy is so funky he makes the crippled dance & the buried boogie six feet under.

Off to Arrested Development & Mrs. Featherbottom.

Okay, who’d like a banger in the mouth? Oh, right. I forgot. Here in the States, you call it a sausage in the mouth.
